Kate Yachini was born and raised in Mechanicville, VA. After completing a degree with concentrations in marketing and finance from the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce in 2003, Kate moved to Hilton Head Island. In 2005, Kate received her real estate license and first worked in real estate marketing prior to transitioning to real estate sales.

Kate recently received NAR's Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource (SFR) certification. She takes pleasure in assisting her listing clients with the details of selling and helping her buyer clients find terrific homes to enjoy. Kate considers it a privilege to help others discover what a wonderful place Hilton Head is to live.

Kate resides in Moss Creek Plantation with her husband John and two dogs, Bitsy & Lucy. In her spare time she enjoys any and all water-oriented activities.
