Activity in Hilton Head Plantation over the past 10 days has been rather slow. No properties were put under contract and no pending sales closed during this period of time; although three (3) pending sales were projected to close between July 10 and the 15^th.  Eighteen (18) current listed experienced price reductions during the ten day period and nine (9) new listings came on the market.

The recent amount of price reductions shows that motivated sellers are aware of the fact that buyers are out there, but buyers continue to watch current pricing and are noticing properties that are priced below market value.  Pricing your property properly from the onset can prevent the price reduction watchers from delaying any offer they may be willing to make initially.
