Activity has been brisk in Hilton Head Plantation Real Estate thus far this month. Currently, ten homes are currently under contract. List prices range from $187,500 for a Spring Lake home to $1,395,000 for a home on Seabrook Landing. Out of the one hundred and fifty five homes currently on the market, nineteen homes experienced price reductions during this period. Nine new listings came on the market with list prices between $154,000 and $995,000. We also had five homes close, with list prices between $325,000 and $750,000. When you are visiting the Spring Lake Recreation Area, you really should stop by the Tennis Complex. Everyone is very hospitable and the tennis players love the audience. You probably have seen the screened-in facility from Seabrook Drive, but the entrance to the Tennis Complex may have eluded you. At the Spring Lake parking lot, there is a modest sign and a tabby path surrounded by beautiful shrubbery. There are gazebos with benches and chairs to relax in the sun, two sets of bleachers to view the tennis court action, a Pro Shop with friendly, accommodating staff, and twelve beautifully maintained Har-Tru Courts. Organized weekly activities include Round Robins. The men play on Mondays and the women play on Tuesdays. Fridays host mixed Round Robin matches. Every month there is a Saturday Round Robin complete with a social event, such as White Elephant, St. Patty's Day Bash, Ice Cream Social, etc. An annual Wimbledon Week is held and is capped off with the traditional Champagne, Strawberries and Cream reception, plus an awards dinner. Spring Lake Tennis is an active participant in the United States Tennis Association leagues with more than twenty one teams.
